Teddy is a year old male neutered JRT/Bassett mix. He was adopted from the shelter as a pup but the family dynamic was not conducive to Teddy's personality. Teddy weighs 12#, is up to date on vaccines and HW negative. Teddy is a sweet boy but needs some TLC. He was extremely skittish when he came to rescue and the former family stated he was very close to the mom but feared the father and kids, to the point he would hide under the bed and cower.(br)(br)(br)Since arriving into the lap of his miracle foster parents, Teddy has blossomed. He truly likes other dogs but is still very wary of new humans. His forever family will need to go slow and have patience while they gain his trust. Teddy is so very happy now and will even sit for treats from his foster daddy, who now can sneak in some petting. He does love his foster mommy so a home with a single female could work best. But again, Teddy did not have the best experience in his former life and that was all he knew. His foster parents are working hard to gain his trust and show him love?
