About Lady Butterscotch

Introducing Lady Butterscotch Wigglebottom! She is a gorgeous 2.5 year old Chinese Shar Pei mix looking for her forever throne to laze upon. For short she is called Lady, though when greeting people she prefers her whole name. As being a part of the royal court, Lady deserves nothing less than the best. Lady is very proper and greatly prefers ladies to gentleman. She may have had a rough past as she does have some scars on her face and around her neck. If there are any men in the home, they will need to be patient and willing to build a relationship at Lady's own pace. She has done well with older, dog savvy female kids and we believe she would do okay with teens that are gentle and will respect her boundaries. Lady is the gentlest giant you will ever meet! She weighs just under 65 pounds and is full grown. She loves to get attention and when you find the right spot she will lean into you as far as possible. Lady has done well with dogs of all sizes! Lady is very smart and walks well on a leash with few corrections. She is still learning the ropes of being a tripod and may be open to very short walks but would prefer sun bathing all day if she has the chance. Lady must have a securely fenced backyards to her standards and a perfect sunbathing spot. She rides well in the car though they do make her a bit nervous and has had to be carried to and from the car. Lady has not played with toys but is very interested in them especially those with squeakers. In her foster home while she was with the County shelter she liked to jump up on the furniture and nibble on it. She would highly benefit from having other activities to do so she will stay busy. Lady Butterscotch Wigglebottom will be your most loyal companion and a champion couch surfer. She will bring light and joy into her forever home. No apartments or rentals with breed or weight restrictions. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped.
