About Charlie and Milo

**PLEASE READ CHARLIE AND MILO'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING. ALL REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED.** Meet Milo and Charlie, our two adorable bonded brothers! Milo and Charlie came to us with their mother, Gia, when their owner who was using Gia for breeding over and over, got overwhelmed with dogs and wanted to surrender all of them. We gladly took them into our rescue and into a safe and loving foster home. This little family of pups had NO socialization and were kept in a garage 24/7, so all they ever knew was each other. They have been in the same foster home together, so we can tell you that when they leave and transition into a new forever home, it will be very hard for them. These boys are both from the same litter, believe it or not? They are both 18 months old and Charlie is 28lbs and Milo is about 18lbs. We believe they are Shih Tzu/Maltese mixes and Charlie might even have a touch of Poodle in him. They definitely have Terrier in them because they have that high pitch terrier bark! They will need owners that will work with them on their obedience training. Charlie and Milo have been through so much, that we want them with owners that will be patient, loving, and understanding that these pups will definitely take time to warm up to their new family and surroundings. These active boys MUST have a home with a secure yard. They CANNOT go into an apartment or condo. They are way too noisy. We will be requiring a wrap pen to be wrapped around the inside of the front door of their new home for a few months to prevent them from escaping and running out. Even if you have a secure screen door, we will require the wrap pen. They CANNOT go into a senior home because they are VERY energetic and fast and will require a home that can hike with them and take them on runs. Milo and Charlie are good with children, but they need to go into a home with kids that are 12 years old or older because Charlie is a bit toy possessive and he likes to jump up on people when he greets them. Charlie likes to snuggle, cuddle, chase cats (THEY HATE CATS), chase birds, and be by your side 24/7 (he's a bit obsessed with his owner). Milo is the more dominant brother who loves to cuddle and chase birds too. They are both good boys who just need some structure and a family that will show them unconditional love.
