About Tango

Tango had a bit of a rough start in life and unfortunately this guy was so lonely that he guards everything with his life in the hopes that it never leaves him again. He would love a home where he is the only dog and does not have to compete for anything and can be by your side. Cats and other dogs (except puppies) tend to intimidate him and make him think they are going to take his food, water, and human away so he's not very tolerable of them. His foster parents are working diligently on these behaviors and he has shown improvement with their dogs but his forever home will need to continue with his training and realize if he is to live with other animals his resource guarding tendencies will need to continually be monitored and addressed. As an only dog he loves his people once he knows he can trust them.
