About Gia

Gia is confused. She doesn't understand why no one wants her, and why she's still waiting for a home after 2 1/2 years? Is it because she's not a puppy? Because she definitely still plays like one. Or is it because she's had a rough past? Because we all have our own story to tell, and wish to have a second chance... she's still waiting for hers. Gia was rescued from the euthanasia list at Miami-Dade Animal Servives back in December of 2017. She was confiscated from her home and tested positive for heart worm. She has now survived bad owners, death row, and heart worm. She deserves a chance to have loving family of her own. She has had training and does well with a submissive male. But she would prefer to be the only pet if possible so she can take in all the love she possibly can. If you are looking for a super loyal best friend to cuddle with, hide bones with, and go for long walks on the beach Gia is your girl. Gia is still in boarding so Foster2Adopt is an option as well. She does have issues with dominance, so someone Who is experience with dominant dogs of the same breed are necessary. Please consider opening up your home to our sweet girl. Her love and loyalty is a reward in itself.
