About BASIL

THIS IS A COURTESY POST FOR ANIMAL ALLIANCE: BASIL has had a hard life, but still lives in positive spirits. BASIL spent the beginning of her life in pain with an untreated eye condition. She was then dumped at a high kill shelter. We rescued BASIL and got her the much needed surgery to make her feel better. BASIL is tired of being in a foster home, and would do much better in a quiet, serene home, with no children. BASIL will require an experienced cat person, with a very patient hand. She has the potential to be a very sweet girl, she just needs one-on-one personal attention, and her own space to be comfortable and safe. BASIL is looking for either an adopter, or foster-to-adopt home, or a foster that could spend some time with her. BASIL is an easy starter cat! BASIL gets along with others but would prefer to be by herself. BASIL was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time and is really hoping to be chosen as part of a loving forever family. BASIL is housebroken, always uses the litter box, doesn't spray, doesn't scratch up the furniture, and is well-behaved. As well as current on all shots, has been dewormed, is current on flea medication, is FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and fixed.
