About Fuzzy

Meet Fuzzy! He is 14-years-old and 5 pounds. This senior boy is looking for a forever home to live the rest of his days. He was surrendered by an owner after 14 years. He was in terrible shape -- heavily matted, abscessed teeth, and diarrhea. We cleaned him up, got him vetted, and now he's feeling so much better! He is a low maintenance little guy that loves snacks and wags his tail when you make eye contact with him. He loves to be carried around like a baby, but prefers to sleep by himself on a bed versus snuggling. Despite his condition when he arrived, he is doing fantastic and has more energy than one would expect from a senior. He loves to explore outside and doesn't mind considerate children, other dogs, or cats. He is not very vocal (unless he wants snacks!). He could use a couple pounds of weight on him. He doesn't like to be groomed, but gentle and slow brushing works well. He has very few teeth so he must eat soft food. He is not fully potty trained, but a washable belly band helps!
