About Maggie

Pug / Shih Tzu
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

This is Maggie our super sweet and adorable senior pup! Maggie is a 9-10 year 'young' female Shih Tzu/ Pug mix who is about 15lbs. This little cutie was found as a stray with no microchip and after attempts to find her owners, we took her into our rescue. Maggie has the best personality ever and just needs a loving and calm home to call her own. She seems to be potty trained once she gets the hang of her surroundings. She need a good high grade wet food/home cooked food diet and supplements for her joints. She cannot be on dry food. Maggie came to us with skin issues so she was shaved down but once her fur grows out, she will be a fluffy beauty! She will need a dental done in a few months, so that is something her new owners will need to take into consideration (dentals usually start at $500). She loves her walks as you can see, so she needs a home where she will get her little strolls daily. Maggie can be an only dog if she has owners that are home most of the day, work from home, or are retired. She can also go into a home with another VERY calm and mellow low key dog. Since she is a calm and mellow dog, children 12 years or older would be fine. By the looks of how this little girl was found, she definitely did not have a good life but we will make sure that her forever home is the best one ever! **WE ONLY ADOPT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AS A HOME CHECK AND TRIAL PERIOD ARE REQUIRED.** Adoption applications can be found at: theforgottendog.org Email the application back to: [email protected] Any questions, call 310-990-2020
