About Tuvix

Meet Tuvix! He is a 6 year old, 15 pound Shih Tzu mix who was owner surrendered to us. Tuvix is a good boy, with a few quirks! He was a fear biter when he came in, and he is still a little skittish and does not like to be picked up. He is a sweet dog once he gets comfortable and trusts someone though! He is a big snuggler and follows his foster mom everywhere. He even sleeps on her head at night in the big bed! Tuvix gets along with other small dogs (big dogs are a no), and is just starting to learn to play. He would also be happy as an only dog. He has not been tested with cats and should not go to a home with kids. He does use a doggy door and we are working on his housebreaking. He likes to go outside, but he does not like to stay out very long. He is not good walking on a leash and a fenced yard is required to keep this handsome boy safe! He has been to the vet and is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Tuvix is a beautiful dog who just needs a person to love him and work with him on his socialization.
