About Carlos

Because we all work, it isn't always easy for us to get back to you timely,��%BD'��%BD��'��%BD��%BD so you can often miss out if your application is not in when we review them.. Your application stays with us for 90 days, so if you miss out on this one.. keep looking, we want you to rescue a dog!! (PS: *We cannot email or call every applicant to tell you that you were not chosen. When the dog is marked 'pending' on our website, it means we have picked someone, but they have not met up yet with the dog. It may or may not work out. Not until they are marked 'adopted', are they actually gone, so please apply.) Carlos is a Very sweet and affectionate AND handsome boy who we believe is right around 6-7yrs old.. who just wants lots of love and cuddles. At first, he is a little timid but loves the attention so he comes around quickly. His favorite thing to do is to sleep on his humans lap. (so if you have a spare one, you would be a perfect fit!) Carlos also likes sunning himself out on the patio, soft treats and curling up on the couch. He doesn't mind being picked up, and loves to give kisses. He is more timid around men, though I am sure they could win him over with-in a short time & patience. Carlos weighs approx 6lbs. (he is currently in a female foster home, so we cannot say much about men or small kids). Adults have been fine though. He would appreciate a home that is quiet, relaxed...and perhaps a retired persons home, where life isn't so hectic. He really doesn't like to be home alone all day and he will bark when you leave, but is quiet soon after. ��%BD'��%BD��%BD Carlos has a Canine foster brother, whom is a great dane...they do fine together as you can see in the photo, but WE prefer Carlos to be the one and only in the home where he would get all the attention. If you have 1 other small pet, we will consider that too. We do not know how he would be with cats because at a meet up he did fine but the cat did not! Carlos is potty trained and crate trained, loves going for walks and his soft blankie. ��%BD'��%BD��%BD Carlos adoption fee is set at $240.00 HE does�%A0qualify for our senior to senior program too.�%A0 which means if YOU�%A0are a senior (and he is), then his adoption fee drops to $100. plus anything we have in him other than neutering. NOT to exceed $175.00Most everything we know about our dogs is in the bio.. so please read it so you know what the dog is like and if it will fit your lifestyle. Once an application is received, it will go in that dog's file for review.
