About Mila

Location: Livermore, CA Female Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Kelpie Mix Age: 3-4 Weight: About 45 lbs. Spayed Vaccines up to date. Good with larger male dogs. Has not been around cats. Potty Trained. Knows how to sit, lay down, stay, and heel to walk on a leash. Has medium to high energy level. Low bark frequency. Rehoming due to newborn and behavioral training needs. Home Check required. Mila is our best friend and companion. She loves to be outdoors and does very well in the house. She is a very sweet girl, although she can be insecure with strangers (mostly outside of the home) and needs the time and the opportunity to check out a person, and feel sure that she will be safe before she accepts a new person. Once she knows you, and trusts you, usually after two meetings, she is your best friend. Mila would do best in a home with experienced owners who are patient and can remind her that she is not the boss. She requires consistency as she has some quirks and has bitten out of insecurity (not common, but it has happened). However, she is willing to learn because she loves to please. Note: Mila was temporarily rehomed and had a minor biting incident which deemed her a 'potentially dangerous dog' by the Livermore Animal Control.
