About Cameron

Cameron is a super sweet 8 year old blue pit. He currently lives in foster in Hampton Roads area of VA, after being an owner surrender. He is with an older Kelpie mix and a very assertive Pug. He was slightly fearful of little dogs since he was bitten by one but after a slow introduction, he warmed up perfectly and is the sweetest cuddle bug you will ever meet. He is the epitome of a Velcro dog and will follow his person around where ever they go. We worked on all the basic commands and he has learned so quickly...everything from sit..stay to high five. He was initially very reactive and scared of every noise on walks, but after learning the lay of the land, he does great and doesn't pull or tuck his tail when a car or person goes past. He has no evidence of food aggression. He does wonderfully with small children. His favorite activity is napping on the couch and watching cartoons with my daughter. He would really thrive in a home with children and other dogs to help bring him out of his shell. He even was fine with our guinea pig! He is very reactive to cats though, so cats would be a no. You could honestly not ask for a sweeter, gentler, more well behaved gentleman than Cameron.
