About Lucky

Lucky was originally a stray that we rescued from the middle of a busy highway. We attempted to find his family and unfortunately the animal shelter can not take him because of the COVID-19 issues going on. We had him checked and he had no microchip. We would love to keep Lucky because he is so sweet, a good cuddler, and our other dogs love him. Unfortunately our apartment will only allow us to keep two dogs and we already have two. Lucky seemed to originally be an outside dog. When we first found him, we brought him into our home, gave him a bath, and he slept for hours. When he woke up we realized he probably wasn't potty trained. We have worked the past 2 weeks with him and he is almost all the way potty trained. He has only recently had accidents late at night if we forgot to take him out immediately before going to bed. Lucky sits at the door when he needs to go out and he does not bark or whine. Lucky also does well in a crate and can be left alone for extended periods of time. Lucky is great on the leash and harness.He responds very well with minimal pressure applied on the leash. He loves going on walks and will stay right by your side even with distractions. We hope that you will love Lucky as much as he will love you. Please help find this sweet boy a loving forever home.
