Max Jr. was recently saved from the County shelter along with his father, Max Sr. Our rescue happily saved both boys and once we got them to the rescue we could see that they are both mature men who have enjoyed their time, but are definitely ready to have some space from each other and go on their own adventures. Max Jr is good with other small dogs, but he can be a bit bossy, so he would need a non-alpha companion and needs to meet friends before adoption to make sure everyone is happy. Max does prefer the company of mature people, so he is looking for a children free home environment. Max Jr is very shy, especially with new people, and may take some time to come around and want affection, but he does love attention once he has learned to trust. Max Jr is mostly house broken, but has been known to mark, so he needs a patient family who won't give up on him because of that and will help him to learn. Max Jr. weighs 11 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200 and includes 30 days of complementary pet insurance and a free vet visit.
