Hi, my name is TARA - ID#A4317186. I am a spayed female, brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 62 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Sep 19, 2019. Tara is a friendly and smart girl She know 'sit', 'stay' and 'down'. Here are some notes from volunteers who recently spent time with Tara: 2/28/2020 WALK Excited in kennel; easy/moderate pull, easy return; strong puller on leash; took treats; excited in kennel, moderate pull; strong puller but walks A LOT better once away from the shelter in the grassy field; pulls when she sees another dog, but takes correction/redirection; sweet girl; loves treats and will sit nicely. 3/15/2020 WALK Friendly and excited in kennel; took treats; pulls on leash exiting wing, then good on leash during walk; allows petting, tail wags; gentle with treats, sweet girl. 3/28/2020 WALK Friendly and eet, smart girl; knows 'sit' 'shake' 'down'.
