About Chikis

Meet Chikis! This beautiful petite (~54lbs) 7 year old girl was surrendered by her owner back in 04/12/2019 and has been in the shelter system ever since (transferred from South LA Shelter to North Central Shelter). Despite it all, she still maintains her sweet spirit and is doing amazingly in her foster home! She is very well-mannered in the house, super affectionate and loving, takes treats gently like a lady, is potty-trained and does great in her crate. She loves to just chill with you at home; usually passing the time through snuggling, giving kisses, and napping. However, her puppy-like energy comes out when she's out and about. She absolutely LOVES going out for walks and hikes and usually displays her excitement through her happy tail/wiggly butt dance. She is definitely a great hiking and jogging buddy! Overall she is the perfect combination of a dog who is equally as laid back as she is energetic. Please come adopt or rescue this special little girl so that she can finally have the loving and stable home that she deserves. At this moment, Chikis will do best in a single pet home where she can soak up all the love and attention that her family has to offer. She is great with all humans, both adults and kids.
