I am about eight weeks old and I came to rescue from a hoarding case along with many other dogs who went to rescues. Unfortunately a lot of my siblings have passed away before we made it to safety and one of my sisters passed away while at rescue. We were very sick puppies but we are on good medicine and good food and hopefully I will be able to find a wonderful home where I will never be on deaths door again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Intake Date: 13 Mar 2020 ----- Age at intake: 8 wks ----- Breed: unknown mix ----- Size: 6 lbs ----- Status: hoarding case surrender ----- Compatible with: dogs, cats, children----- Suitable for: home with a securely fenced yard, possible apartment with loads of safe exercise but hard to say at this age----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: malnourished ----- Additional Notes: Augie is an adorable little boy that is full of spunk in life. We were worried he may not make it and we still are concerned for a downhill turn but so far he is responding amazing to medication and good food. His bony little body is starting to fill out and his big personality is overflowing. We have no idea what breeds are and in cases like this with over 40 dogs in the home it is likely that he is a mix of a whole lot of things. We cannot guarantee breeds or size at maturity so if interested in adopting please be flexible and take that into consideration and love him no matter how big or small he is. He is not the sibling of Sara however they came to rescue together so we are considering them as siblings as they are being raised together since they were taken from the mother. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory.
