About Wyatt

Adoption Fee: $300
Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Wyatt is available for adoption, he is being fostered in Jacksonville, FL. He is an Australian Cattle Dog of about 2 years old, 45 pounds. He is loving, loyal, and a complete cuddle bug - he will sleep with you all night and loves to lay with his people on the couch. He follows his foster parents everywhere they go and has a pretty good recall. He gets along well with other dogs but would do best in a house without cats as he likes to chase them. He does great on walks, goes in his crate when asked, and is potty trained. He knows 'sit' 'lay down' 'look' 'leave it' and is working on many other commands with his foster mom. He is a quick learner. Because he is so intelligent he would do best with someone who is active or who is willing to put in the work to make him an awesome trick, agility partner, or nose work pup. He needs someone who is not going to leave him in a crate for many hours at a time because he is active and would rather be with you than separated from you. He likes a job, but he is very respectful of his home and his people. Being a herding dog, Wyatt would be best for a home with no small children. If you want a very sweet loving dog - Wyatt is the boy for you! He will need a home with a fenced in backyard. Wyatt is up to date on vaccines and preventatives, neutered, and heartworm negative.
