About Bear

Are you looking for a Teddy Bear for the start of Spring? Meet Bear! The softest boy with the sweetest temperament. Even though he's a 9 month old lab mix and in puppy age, Bear has a great sense of being able to change his play style to his partners. He loves to play and do zoomies with his foster sister Florence, but plays gentle with the older dogs in the home. At 50 lbs, he's on the shorter side but makes a great couch snuggler! Bear appears to be house and crate trained. We suspect he'd be good with cats with his docile temperament and have no concerns with kids. Bear is neutered, current with vaccines, and fostered in Harrisburg, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
