About Hunter

Hunter is approximately 6-7 years old. He was a stray dog estimated to be around 1 at the time that we adopted him. He is amazing with children (we have 6 kids ranging in age from 4-17). He plays well with other dogs. He is a little unsure of cats, but leaves them alone. Hunter does suffer from anxiety/fear from storms, fireworks, tools, loud noises. His anxiety has gotten worse with age. We originally got the dog in hope that he could be a companion to help with my ptsd. Unfortunately, his anxiety is only adding to my ptsd. It has gotten to the point that we believe it is better for him to be in another home. He is so well loved by our children. This is not an easy decision to make. We think he would do best in a quiet home.
