Hi, my name is LUCY - ID#A4235500. I am a spayed female, brindle American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Dec 31, 2019. Lucy a4235500 is a sweet 6 year old brindle who has been at the shelter 60+ days. She is super sweet, walks well on leash. Absolutely loves belly rubs. Very calm and loving She knows sit. She was slightly timid with other dogs but had social interactions.NO CATS Recent Notes from Volunteers: 12/20/2019 WALK Excited/barked/jumped in kennel; moderate pull, easy return; solicited petting, playful/jumpy with handler; strong on leash for 5-10 minutes, then relaxed and enjoyed sniffing/exploring; easy walker following; very affectionate. 12/31/2019 INTAKE ASSESSMENT Very friendly on intake, allowed petting, walked well on leash, easy kennel. 1/11/2020 EVALUATION Explored yard; friendly with handlers; barked at female dog during greeting at fence; neutral with social male dog at fence; greeted, played with other dog- pushy/invasive and became more assertive as time progressed; mounted other dog, handlers separated. 1/17/2020 WALK Lucy was calm and friendly in the kennel, was an easy pull/return, was easy on leash with some moderate pulling at times. She sat for treats. Please consider this sweet older mama for your next furry family member. Lucy is at risk of immediate euthanization.
