The store is not open please start with an application at tailsofrescue.org under dog application. We are going with applications first then speaking with people. Then setting up a meet and greets and hopefully, that turns into an adoption. This is a new way of us doing business so please be patient. Please do read the bio before applying for the animal. We are only doing meet and greet outside the store at Tails of Rescue 981 Lake Blvd Redding CA. Frito is a 2-3 year old male chihuahua blend. Easy going boy and does well with other dogs and doing okay with theadult foster cats in the house. Walks well on a leash and learning house manners. Frito was a stray dog brought into the shelter so background is unknown. He would enjoy a home with one maybe two other laid back dogs. Still working on housetraining and leash manners. The adoption fee is $178 neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on shots, kennel cough, and rabies. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are NOT done on a 'first come, first serve' basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the litter or dog. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, kennel cough, microchip, rabies, and heartworm test if an adult.
