About Capone (east)

Hi, my name is CAPONE - ID#A4352624. I am a neutered male, white and tan American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Dec 05, 2019. Capone has a note about a bite on his record, but we have no details. He was very friendly, but scared and shy when coming into the shelter. For this reason, we recommend no small children and Capone should be the only pet in the home. He is eager to please, and loves to play, long walks, exploring. He knows 'sit', and is very food motivated. Capone is a sweet boy that enjoys love. At times, he thinks he is a lap dog, and will shower you with kisses. There is a rescue that wants to help him, but they need a foster that will meet his requirements. Perhaps a foster to adopt? This sweet boy deserves a chance. Dog walks beside you. Had dog in the yard. Dog had the zoomies and playing. Dog knows sit. Eager to please. Very playful dog. Enjoys being with handlers. Very good dog. 3/26/2020 OBSERVATION brought out for potential adopter; met 12 year old girl - wiggly/loose body, gentle interactions, solicited attention/petting, attempted to play with child; jumped front paws onto adult males legs to solicit attention; leaned into petting, very affiliative with child, adults, and with handler.
