About Blanche

Say hello to Blanche everypawdy! She is an 11-year-old, 10 lb. chihuahua that was found in an abandoned home after her owners decided to move and leave her behind. She was found with a toenail curled into her paw causing bleeding and discoloration, but she is on the mend. She also had a cough with congestion and after antibiotics its all cleared up. Since being in our household we have determined her to be a sassy spitfire. Even though she is a senior she has a lot of energy left and loves to play. She had a dental while in the shelter and it was determined that she has only a few teeth left. Due to only having a few teeth she should only be fed a soft food diet. She doesn't mind other dogs but sometimes she gets snarky if they encroach into her personal space and tells them to back off, we think this will subside in time as she gets to know our pack better. She is pee pad trained but given the opportunity she loves to go outside rain or shine. She enjoys lounging on the couch and burrowing under blankets next to us. When it's time for bed she is content in the big bed with us humans. She is a very low maintenance dog and makes a very good companion.
