OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: Due to the Coronavirus we are suspending any out of state adoptions until further notice. Hey All! I'm Bertha! One look into my eyes and your heart will melt. My favorite times of the day are definitely lunch and dinner (I didn't get my name for nothing, I am a big girl)! I love to be outside and chase my ball, or you (good luck trying to out run me)! I am pretty much nailing the potty training bit, put me outside and I know what to do. I like to follow you around as I am s till learning how big the world is and though I am mighty, I get scared easily. Knowing you are close by gives me so much comfort. I sleep through the night (if I get to sleep with you), but am working on sleeping alone in my crate. I am looking for someone who can keep up with me during the day and enjoy all the snuggles at night. If this sounds like you, don't wait and apply today! Bertha is a female American Bulldog/ Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated date of birth of 12/29/19 and weighs approximately 29 pounds. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
