He is Rescue only- and needs rescue asap- due to medical, although his condition seems treatable and under control. The shelter sent out a plea today (3/27) asking for rescue (meaning adopters will need to go through a rescue group to adopt so please contact us). He comes off his stray hold tomorrow (3/28) so it is unclear how much time he has. Reggie came in with an open laceration on his back, which was already treated, and limping (unclear if he still is). We have his Medical notes. Unfortunately, he is now not available for public adoption even though this medical may be minor. Therefore, we need a rescue, foster and pledges asap. Marsha at the shelter could tell me very little, other than she thinks he is about 65-70 lbs, but they do not have a scale. He was able to be handled despite being hurt, and they said his behavior was 'normal'. Who can help this poor young man who is likely to get overlooked under these circumstances?
