About Mason

*** ADOPTION PENDING *** Meet Mason, a tiny ball of love and fun! He is a 14 lb. Lab mix with deep brown eyes and a sleek black coat. Born December 18, 2019, young Mason is a joyful puppy who loves to play, but also loves nestling up and snuggling until he falls asleep. Mason won't hesitate to jump in your lap and give you kisses the moment he meets you!! He is a delight to be around. He loves playing with other dogs and has shown interest in the cats in the house but has not had much interaction with them. He plays happily with his toys and loves squeaky balls- it's hilarious to watch him pull them all from the basket and jump and wiggle around with each one. But although he loves his toys, he seems to like people best of all. He is at his happiest when he is snuggled in the lap of his humans, and will join in on any people activity ( he's a great workout buddy!) He is making progress with his house training, and his foster family is having fun teaching him tricks. He is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! This boy is in the developmental stage of exploring the world with his mouth and will also be teething with sharp teeth for quite some time to come. Please do not apply if you have children under age 8 or, if they are older, who will not be able to tolerate this. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care, so please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested prior to submitting. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health and safety of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering, and microchipping before transporting our dogs. Then, we provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you.
