About Harley

This is harley. Before you read to much, lets get down to the bad: she attacked our Pomeranian and she had to be put to sleep due to the damage done. if you'd like to read on, READ THE WHOLE THING. Husky's need room to roam, if you don't have a decent back yard, PLEASE don't bother me! we have had her for a couple years (got her from the maricopa animal shelter), she is about 3 i would guess and is fixed. she was abused and timid when we got her but grew into a happy playful pup and she was a great dog. About 6 months ago we got a doberman and wiener dog and all seemed well until about 4 months ago she bit one of our other dogs (1 bite on the neck)... was no damage really done and life went on. About 2 months ago she attacked the doberman (and this dog was her buddy, they play ALL the time)... put holes in her neck, the next day everything was fine and they're all playing. Anyways....forward to 3/20.... with no warning or reason, sitting in the game room she bit our 10 year old Pomeranian, and due to the damage from the bite she had to be put down. These attacks have seemingly No cause, nothing has changed in the household recently..perhaps it was the addition of the 2 new dogs 6 months ago? even though she plays with one of them constaly? i don't know, honestly i don't care.. she has to go....everytime i see her, i think of the pom. For obvious reason i have to recommend she be the only dog, she may be fine with other dogs but read above and if you choose to take her, it is purely at your own risk. she is still here with our 3 other dogs.... no further issues have arose but we are watching her like a hawk and not letting them out of our sight. she knows basic commands, she is kennel trained, she is sweet towards people young and old (she has Never shown aggression towards any of us even when i pulled her away the doberman attack). she is good with dogs (except the above!) and tolerates our cats. she has been known to catch a bird or 3. If anyone wants her..... let me know, but read the above and be aware. i'd rather put her down than give her to someone that will make her miserable. i hate what she caused but, i'm not going to put her in a bad situation. if you know nothing about husky's.....it's not the dog for you regardless of her issues! Husky's need room to roam, if you don't have a decent back yard, PLEASE don't bother me!
