About Boi Boi

To set up a day and time, email [email protected] or call 602-944-2440. Boi Boi is a loving 2 year old Chihuahua mix looking for his forever home. He weighs 8.6 pounds but is underweight. Boi Boi will need a home that understands it will take time for him to gain weight and he will require 3-4 small meals a day, preferably consisting of dry and wet puppy food full of fat to help him fill out. He is a sweet boy that likes to take his time warming up to new people. Boi Boi has done well with men, women, and has been around children as young as 4 years old. Once he bonds, he is completely loyal to his people and would follow them anywhere! Boi Boi needs a home where his people are home more often than not. Having a canine companion may help ease some of his separation anxiety. Boi Boi does great with dogs of all sizes! He is house broken, knows how to use a doggy door, walks good on a leash and rides well in the car. Boi Boi believes himself to be part howler monkey and will talk for all to here when the time is right. He would not do well in an apartment environment as howlers are very looked down upon. Boi Boi does not like kennels and will scream if put in one because he dislikes them so much. Thankfully he is a very well behaved boy and is not destructive but does occasionally use his stilts to hop up on a chair/ desk if he can reach. Boi Boi will be your most loyal companion if you let him! He can be a bit talkative while on a leash and may benefit from additional training. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee is $220 and includes 30 days of complementary pet insurance and a free vet visit.
