The San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter is urgently requesting assistance from individuals, volunteers or organizations to foster, rescue or adopt shelter animals to increase space within the shelter and to prepare for any possible shelter closure due to the health concerns related to the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). The San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter may be closed to the public for the time being, but the staff are still working daily and have been doing a fantastic job taking appointments for fosters and adopters to get furbabies out during this difficult time. Many have left the shelter for their temporary/forever homes, but these are the remaining current cuties still in major need of placement. Please reach out to the shelter if you can help in any way.
