My name is Jodi! I am a 9 year old senior lady who used to live outside. You see, I lived all my life with older people that didn't really make me part of their family but rather an outside dog that kind of just did my own thing. They did love me but I never knew what was to live inside a home. Then my owner passed away, and many of my friends from the farm went to different places, and I thankfully ended up at Husky Haven of Florida where they promised me I would find a home that will show me the good life. They think all the dogs deserve that and I believe that too.I am a pretty laid back gal but will require a little patience and structure as I transition from an outdoorsy lifestyle to a more modern indoor lifestyle. Thankfully I have been learning a whole bunch of exciting new things and I love it. I am properly train and have this new lease on life which is so exciting.I love to go for walks, that's my favorite thing. I am great on leash as well as good in a crate. I have learned some new commands like sit, down, and place. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?! I am great with other dogs and i don't mind cats. I am also good with little humans too. Being that I am older, I would like a home in which I can chill with and be your constant companion.Anyways, get to applying for me so I can find a permanent place to call home.
