About DOT

DOT is a precious little PUREBRED Japanese Chin. She is about 4 yrs. old, has a beautiful black and white coat and weighs a petite 5 lbs. She was rescued along with several other dogs whose owner was no longer able to care for them. It is important that the new owner of DOT is someone who is experienced in owning a toy breed dog. Having owned a Japanese Chin would be to their advantage. Due to her fragile small size, DOT is best suited for a home with no young children. Having an adult at home with her throughout the day would also be very important. This breed typically has a dependent personality and needs companionship to avoid 'separation anxiety'. The new owner must also be committed to providing regular brushing and combing, regular Vet checkups and Dental Cleanings. The Adoption Fee for DOT includes spay, up-to-date vaccines, teeth cleaning, microchip with registration and grooming.
