About Athena

Athena turned 6 in February. She is approximately 95 lbs and spayed. She is current on her vaccines and on heartworm preventative. She is microchipped. She is housetrained and was raised around children but at this time we would recommend older children only. She needs a home that will work with her on obedience and keep her dominant tendencies in check. She should not be allowed on furniture. Athena is a very people friendly dog and enjoys meeting new folks. Athena has also made many other dog friends here and seems to do well with large and small dogs. She is generally a very well behaved dog but needs an owner who understands Rottweilers and bully breeds. Athena loves the water and boat rides and travels like a champ in the car. Athena has been ok with our outdoor farm cats here and we would consider adopting to a home with outdoor cats as long as proper and slow introductions were made. She should not be in a home with free range chickens. She has been fine around miniature horses, horses and donkeys.
