About Buddy

Buddy - AVAIL APR-2020! :) M, 8 y/o, 45 lbs Labrador Retriever mix Neutered Buddy is awesome!! He gets along with people, kids, dogs - just about everyone - but he especially LOVES being with people! He will always be curious what you're doing. He might be older but he's a happy-go-lucky pup with a lot of pep in his step! He does well with crating when needed (he doesn't bark) and is overall a really good house pup! He would thrive in a happy, socially busy home with lots of people and/or pups to visit every day! HISTORY: Buddy's owner died at home leaving him trapped inside the house for more than a week before neighbors noticed and called authorities for a welfare check. That's when Buddy was discovered and, with no next-of-kin to take him in, he ended up at the kill-shelter. About to be euthanized for space because he had no adoption or rescue interest, we pulled him to safety and sent him to our vet to be checked out. He was suffering from a heartworm and ringworm infection, both of which we have had treated. FOSTER / ADOPTION Our adoptable pups are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and fully vetted!
