About Scout

We met Scout, and was so amused by the way he looks, he is so cute! He weighs about 20 pounds and is around 4-4.5 years old. He is great around people and really loves the company of them, he is quite a loyal dog. We are looking for a home that doesn't have small kids though, so junior high and up. He seems to be fearful of the younger ones, that is why we are finding him a new home. He is playful and will be a fun dog for a family or person. He is a great dog to tell your secrets too, he likes when you talk to him! He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on his leash, and loves a good belly rub.He's just a nice dog, looking for a new forever and ever family. We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a dog. As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative.You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market if you live in one of the designated zip codes. We give you 4 training classes, this is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place.
