Welcome Billie Jean! This sweet girl just arrived and immediately settled into a routine in her foster home. She does well in her crate without any anxiety but prefers a toy or peanut butter Kong to entertain herself. Billie Jean appears to be house and crate trained, and walks well on leash with only a slight amount of pulling. She is fascinated with toys and enjoys chasing sticks in the yard. This beautiful girl is listed as a Shepherd mix that is 1 year old. She is current with vaccines and preventatives. She is playful and enjoys the company of hoomans and other dogs in her foster home. Billie Jean is current with vaccines, spayed, and heartworm negative. If you think you are a match for this amazing girl, she is waiting in Harrisburg, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
