'It's alright 'cause I'm saved by the bell' Hi! I'm Slater, estimated to be a 5 month old hound mix. I weigh 33 lbs and have big paws I need to grow into still. In foster care I'm trying to figure out which toy I like best. I like playing with my dog foster siblings but I'm still confused about those things they call cats. My foster parents say I'm doing great at going potty outside. This past week I learned how to walk up/down steps and sit (I like sit because I get a treat). I don't really like to be in my crate cuz I just wanna hang with the big kids. I'm unsure about the leash still but working on that too. I've already been neutered and I am up to date on vaccines/preventatives. I'm hanging out in Windsor, PA until my furever family comes to get me. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
