Surely a dog named Spartacus is tough, athletic, competitive, and maybe even a little awe inspiring, right? Well, sorry to disappoint, but our Spartacus is as sweet as he can be. Just 4 years old, this laid-back Rattie mix specializes in pleasing his people, and at a compact 15 lbs. he won't take up too much space in your bed. You did want a snuggly bedfellow, didn't you, because that's his favorite place to be. A strong second is right next to you on the couch when you're watching TV. Spartacus gets along with the other dogs, as well as the cats, in his foster home, but truthfully, he'd probably rather have you all to himself. He hasn't lived with kids before, but we think he would be fine with teens. Although he's working on leash walking, Spartacus would enjoy having a fenced yard where he could roam and inspect the property and do his business. Spartacus is crate trained and he will go into the crate with no problem as long as a treat is involved, but he's also reliably house-trained, so he'll rarely need to use a crate. Got a spare hand needing a dog to scratch and a heart with some space for love? Spartacus is at your service, ready to inspire your 'aws.' ------------------------------------------------------ IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING SPARTACUS, please go to new Rattitude's website at http://www.NewRattitude.org/adopt.htm, where there is detailed information and a link to our adoption application.
