About FANNY

Fanny is a sweet and gentle 10-year-old white spayed female Miniature Poodle who was rescued from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center by Precious Pals Pets Rescue after she was found as a stray on March 19th. Fanny had lived a neglected life and is a hot mess! She had such a severe ear infection that she cannot hear and her ears will need to be flushed every 6-8 weeks the rest of her life, not to mention they are terribly painful and uncomfortable for her. Fanny also has a Grade 6/6 heart murmur, and X-rays showed a small growth in her lungs. Due to her heart and age, any surgery was too risky, so even her dental was deferred. She's also suspected to have Cushing's. Despite Fanny's experienced foster lovingly making her homemade blended food, it's clear Fanny's teeth are giving her a lot of discomfort and her dental can no longer wait. Fanny needs additional testing for Cushing's, not to mention ongoing care. Currently, Fanny's medical bills are running into the thousands and this rescue is overrun with medical bills due to the special needs dogs we take in. We are reaching out to the Village to please help raise additional funds to help this great rescue, so Fanny can get her dental and additional tests to give her the quality of life she deserves.
