About Flappe

FLAPPE - 11 YEAR OLD MALE - GAUTENG 11 year old Flappe and 7 year old female Peaches are looking for an urgent home together, by the 27th March at the latest. Alternatively, we need a foster home for them by then. We don't normally state the reason for the surrender, but we will in this case, as it is not Flappe and Peaches' fault that they are looking for a new home. Their human mom got a job at a cheetah conservation centre, and it is a live-in position, and obviously, due to cheetahs being around, no dogs are allowed. We know how hard it is to get jobs in the current economic climate, so please, no negative remarks. Let us rather try and find Flappe and Peaches a new forever home. Flappe is a very serious guy, but likes to give love to those he loves. He can growl if you want to move him when he doesn't want to. Because he is older already, he is not very active anymore, except when he hears or sees Hadedas, or sometimes when workers move around the property. He loves to get into the house and just sleep. He slept at his family's feet underneath the table where they used to work, since he was a puppy. He still loves to do that. Otherwise, there is a couch in the lounge where his sleeping cushion is, and his favourite thing to do is just to go there and sleep, although age is getting to him, and he struggles to jump up onto that some days. Flappe wants to be cuddled whenever there is thunder, or at the very least just wants to be in the house. He's got the most beautiful curly coat, which is shaved off once a year. He is used to someone being home all day, and it would be ideal if they could find a new home where they have the same company. Flappe is not really used to children, but should be fine with them, as he is fine with strangers. He is also good with cats and other dogs.
