About Waylon

MEET WAYLON!! This adorable 10 month old German Shepherd/Pyrenees mix comes to us from the Davidson County Animal Shelter after his owners surrendered him for barking. UMMMM... I wish I could say I am speechless but I'm not. Waylon is a big (80 lbs) fluffy boy is nothing more than a GOOFY puppy that needs to learn some manners. He is a total love bug that attaches quickly to his people. He is very food motivated and learns very quickly. This big guy would do best in a home with a large dog that is not intimidated by his rough, roudy and more dominant play style. Waylon does have some resource guarding issues meaning that he doesn't always like to share his toys so his new family will be required to work with a trainer to insure he learns to control his behavior approprirately.. He does respond well to correction. Waylon is looking for an active family that is willing to spend some time and give him the love and training he needs to be the fabulous dog that we know he is. Waylon is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, on flea/tick/heartworm preventions and will be neutered prior to adoption. Adoption fee $400.
