About Duke

Hello my name is Duke! I am 4 years old and was an owner surrender at a high kill shelter because they did not have time for me. I was so sad when they took me to that noisy shelter place and there was so many other dogs just like myself there crying and barking wanting out. I was lucky enough that my rescue seen me and there was also a foster offer in Texas where I was pulled at to help until I can go to my rescue in NC. I am now in my foster home and have several other dogs to play with now. I have a soft bed to lay in and get lots of love and attention. I love to be petted and get belly rubs as well. I also do this funny thing and stand on my back legs like a human when I'm looking for something or trying to see something. My foster dad says its the cutest thing! Will you please share me so I can find my forever home and never have to worry about being taken to another noisy shelter? I promise to be a good boy and be your best friend. Love Duke
