About Bradley

Introducing Bradley! He is a 7 year old, 15 pound Yorkie! He came to us from a New Orleans shelter where he had been surrendered by his owner. Bradley is a super sweet boy, as loving as he can be to his person. When he first got to his foster home he was kind of quiet and a loner, but as he settled in he has really opened up. He loves to give hugs to show how happy he is to see you! He always wants to go for a ride, and is wonderful in the car and is so well behaved! He loves to go for walks on a leash too. Bradley is a friendly boy who will love to lie beside you in your favorite chair and prefers to sleep in the big bed, snuggled close to his person. He can be protective of his family around strangers, but he is a very intelligent boy and once he knows everything is ok he accepts the person. He gets along fine with all the other dogs in his foster home, but he would be fine as only dog, or maybe with just with one more in the home. Bradley tries his best to be the only one to get any attention. He is also toy possessive and will not share his toys at all! He becomes obsessed over destroying the toy in his possession and does not want to not turn it loose until he makes sure it's good and 'dead'! He is pretty much housebroken but must be let out regularly. He has occasionally marked a spot in his foster home, so he will need to be watched at first until he learns a new home and routine. Like many dogs he may mark initially in a new home. Bradley is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration, and has had a recent dental.
