About Annie A

Hey, hey, hey! It's Annie A! What does that A stand for, you ask? It must be 'adaptable' because this cute 15-lb. Rattie mix, pulled from a Texas shelter where she'd been placed as a stray, stepped into her foster home without batting an eye. It was as if she had spent all of her approximately 8 years living with her two human foster parents, three human foster teenage siblings, and the two resident Rat Terriers. Annie learned her name in two days flat and quickly caught on to getting comfy in her kennel with no complaint. Fully house-trained, she makes a soft whine when she needs to go outdoors, and she eats politely alongside her canine foster dog sisters. Annie A is a cuddly little lap dog, who follows family members around the house just waiting for someone to sit down and snuggle with her. Her favorite thing is to tuck her head right up under your chin and get belly rubs while being held like a baby. Annie A may have been a single dog in her previous life because she seems mystified when the other two dogs start to play and she'll try to intervene. When an unfamiliar guests visits, she may bark until the family shows that they accept and welcome the new person, whereupon she becomes their best friend, ready to receive cuddles and scratches.
