S-T-O-P!!!! BONDED PAIR TIA AND REMY. YOU MUST COMPLETE AN APPLICATION AS THE FIRST STEP! Adoption Application: https://pawsitivetailstoremember.forms-db.com/view.php?id=17980 Remy (Male) and Tia (Female) BONDED PAIR - MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER Get ready to fall completely in love with Remy and Tia (the twins) They are litter mates, 12 months old and are Terrier/Maltese/Chi Mixes. We can't confirm that they are hypoallergenic and like all dogs they may shed. That being said, Remy and Tia have been adopted 2 times and returned within one day both times. They are healthy, current on vaccines, microchipped and spayed and neutered. They are shy and fearful but once they trust you, they are completely different dogs. Their adopters told us that they were barking and lunging (little dogs may tend to do that when scared). Remy is more timid and when he shows fear, Tia steps up to protect her brother and they react to each other's fear. We have a plan in place: 1) Minimum of 2 meet and greets. Walking them separately without the foster and then walking them together. 2) We have purchased them an x-pen, large bed (they sleep together) and blankets that will go with them to their new home. The set-up will be familiar to them and can be their 'safe' place while they assimilate into their new home. 3) Keep them on a leash when in the yard so that you maintain control. 4) Finally, our advice is to leave them be and let them come to you. 5) Adult only home! Preferably another dog in the home but not mandatory If you are interested in meeting them, please complete an application. They really are special little pups. They are completely bonded, are always together and are as cute as they look. Some Remy and Tia details! * Very bonded; they watch out for each other * They are 12 months old * They weigh about 10-11 lbs * Tia is a bit taller with the pointed ears up * Remy has the rounder face with his ears down * Both are very shy & fearful at first & will need time to trust their new family * Adopters must be willing to work with gaining their trust - it won't be instant! * ADULT HOME ONLY * Healthy and fully vetted; both are altered and current on vaccines * Both are leash trained - Tia will walk ahead and Remy will lag behind * Doggie door potty trained * They will only be adopted together.
