About Duke

Duke is a sweet boy that was surrendered in order to find a more suitable home for him. Due to his owner working out of town, the owner's mother was taking care of him; but he became a bit too much for her to handle due to his size and activity level. Duke is a Shepherd mix that weighed 57lbs at intake and is HW negative. He is housebroken and crate trained for short periods. He gets along well with other dogs and also cats. He knows some basic commands and really is a sweet boy. Duke can get a bit excited when he first meets you, but he really does settle nicely..His owners let us know that he loves cheese, round rawhide chews, a comfy bed inside, the great outdoors and to also ride around and see the sites.
