About Ivan

Ivan is an interesting boy! He is just a bit over 1yr old and weighs only 34lbs! We don't fully know what he's mixed with, but he appears to be a retriever... and maybe some spaniel? Whatever the mix, he is a beautiful boy! Ivan is very insecure when meeting new folks and even with his own people, he can still be somewhat skittish. With calm, gentle encouragement, he's doing great and learning to trust more and more each day. He absolutely loves dogs of all sizes and he depends on his foster pals to help him become more trusting and balanced. He MUST have another socially friendly, playful dog in the home to help continue with his rehabilitation. Ivan is very food motivated, so lots of treats are helping, too. He is wonderful with children so kids over 10yrs old are ok... and he's also great with kitties. Ivan is doing great with his house trained and he's crate trained, so he can be alone for 4-5hr intervals before he needs a potty break. He MUST have a 5ft or higher, securely fenced yard.
