About Olivia June

Adoption Fee: $200
Jack Russell mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Name: Olivia June of Whitehall PA Sex: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Weight: 13 lbs Height: 12 in At the shoulder Estimated Birthdate: 3/18/2019 Fence Needed: No Location: Jan in Whitehall PA Adoption Fee:$200 Date into Rescue: 03/14/20 Reason for being in rescue: Olivia is a 1 year old jack Russell mix who was rescued from a hoarding situation as a puppy and adopted, but has recently decided that she wants to be in a home where she can be the only princess! Special Needs: none noted What kind of home would be best for me: She's a loving, highly active dog who is great with people, but doesn't want to share with other dogs. She is fun loving, walks great on a leash, knows her commands, is up to date on all her shots and is looking for an active family that's ready to play, hike, run, and have lots of fun and then snuggle up and love! What is my personality like: If there are no other dogs around, she is very friendly when meeting new people, if other dogs are around she can be nippy. She loves treats, and will run into her 'house' (crate) to get one, she loves to be with her person, whether it's playing or snuggling! Her left ear always is straight up and her right is always bent over, giving her the cutest expression! How do I act when I first meet new people: As long as it's just Olivia, she will become your best friend very quickly. Tips and Tidbits: Olivia's birthdate is 3/18/2019. Olivia is in foster care with her family now. They know that they have to do something better for her. Your preference is to place Olivia somewhere within 100 miles of Whitehall Possible but if we don't find a home for Olivia soon, that geographic request will be changed. Please don't let it deter you if you don't live close to Whitehall but are very drawn to this dog. Ultimately we all want the best possible home for her. House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
