About Hayley

Guess who is ready for adoption!!! This girl!! Everyone meet Hayley. She is an 8 month old Husky Catahoula mix who had a really rough start. She was adopted out at 8 weeks old and showed up at a shelter in South Jersey 2 weeks ago. We went to get her as soon as possible and when we picked her up the shape she was in was horrifying. This poor baby had cigarette burns on her side, chemical burns on her paws and a laceration under her chin. We are not 100% sure on what happened to her but we do know that she was abused and we are happy to have her back recovering with us. She is getting healthy but will probably not be able to go home for at least another week. Baby girl is a little thing and weights about 45lbs currently. She is the sweetest dog you ever met. She likes to play but her favorite past time is snuggling! She loves cookies and knows how to sit. She is doing great with her potty training and is comfortable in her crate. She loves people and other dogs. We think she would do well with cats and could test her to be sure. She even loves kids. She is a gentile soul so a quieter family would be best for her. She needs some obedience training (as does any 8 month old puppy) but all in all she is an amazing and resilient pup. Don't let her history fool you! If it wasn't for her injuries you would never know what she has been through. We would love to find her the best home possible!
