Meet Callie! She is estimated to be a 1 year old medium sized mixed breed. She weighs 36 pounds and has weight to still gain. Callie is a energetic little girl that loves everyone she meets and gives many kisses. Callie loves hopping up on the sofa and taking many naps. She loves her tennis balls and will play for days! However, Callie is still working on returning the ball back to you. She is housebroken and crate trained. Callie is good with other dogs, but doesn't know when to stop playing. Her current foster home does not have cats, but it is believed that she would chase the cat. No pets under 25 lbs recommended due to her play style. She does amazing with kids of all ages. Callie is extremely food motivated and learns new tricks quickly. She knows basic commands and aims to please. Callie walks well on a leash and responds well to leadership. She does really well on car rides. Callie is an incredibly intelligent girl and loyal. Callie is up to date on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative, and being fostered in New Freedom. If you have an active family that will play ball and give tons of belly rubs, sweet Callie is perfect for you! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
